The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10-hour training course is  a voluntary program that teaches entry-level workers about common job-related safety and health hazards.  The course is part of OSHA's Outreach Training Program and is designed to help workers understand their rights and responsibilities in the workplace. 

The 10-hour course covers topics such as:

  • Recognizing, avoiding, preventing, and abating workplace hazards
  • Workers' rights
  • Employer responsibilities
  • Filing a complaint
